Ivana Zerec, Consul General of Croatia in Istanbul, is inviting people to Zagreb that repeatedly named as the best Christmas market in Europe. Plans are being made for the upcoming New Year preparations, while Croatia’s Consul General in Istanbul, Ivana Zerec, organized a media gathering for the tourism press. The meeting was held in SOHO House Istanbul with the participation of Ivana Zerec and Turkish Airlines Zagreb Office General Manager Uğur Cantimur.
HISTORICAL MUSEUMS, NATURAL PARKS, PALACES
During the meeting, a presentation about Zagreb and Croatia was made. The presentation included the city’s museums, natural parks, churches, palaces and entertainment life.
COLORFUL THREE DIFFERENT CHRISTMAS MARKETS
Consul General Ivana Zerec told that Zagreb has become very colorful especially during the Christmas period, which has been shown as one of the most remarkable tourism destinations of recent years with its natural beauties, historical and cultural values. Zerec said: “I wish these beauties to be seen and experienced by the friendly Turkish people.”
THE BEST CHRISTMAS MARKET IN EUROPE
World Federation of Travel Journalists and Writers (FIJET) Executive Board Member and ATURJET President Delal Atamdede was also in attendance along with the ATURJET members. Atamdede made a statement to TOURMAG Tourism Magazine about Zagreb Christmas Market and signified the followings: “I agree with Mrs. Ivana Zerec. I strongly recommend that Zagreb should be included in the list of places to see, which has been repeatedly chosen as the best Christmas market in Europe.”
