In Cappadocia, where the occupancy rate in accommodation facilities is approaching 100 per cent due to the Ramadan Eid holiday, tourism professionals are satisfied with the density. Domestic tourists who came to Cappadocia by turning the Eid holiday into an opportunity to relax carried the human and vehicle mobility in the region to the highest point.

Due to the density, extraordinary images emerge especially around the tourism centres in Ürgüp and Avanos districts, Ortahisar, Göreme and Uçhisar towns and Çavuşin village. In Cappadocia, where traffic jams are experienced due to kilometres-long vehicle queues, holidaymakers visit museums and ruins as well as valleys covered with fairy chimneys.

In Cappadocia, which has a capacity of approximately 50 thousand beds in hotels and hostels, full occupancy is experienced in all accommodation facilities as well as full occupancy in tourism centres with daily visitors. Özay Onur, President of Nevşehir Chamber of Tourist Guides, stated in a statement to AA correspondent that the tourism season started with the Eid holiday and noted that the tourists are satisfied with the interest shown to the region.
