Local and foreign tourists visiting Edirne will be able to access all the information they need about the city by scanning the QR code on the promotional cards placed in restaurants, taxi stands and hotels.
Within the scope of the branding activities carried out by the Governorship of Edirne, the establishment of the websites “edirne.com.tr” where the city is promoted in all aspects and “edirneyoresel.com.tr” where gastronomic delicacies and souvenirs are offered for sale has been completed. Desktop cards were prepared so that visitors to the city can easily access both websites with a QR code.
“WE USE DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY”
Provincial Director of Culture and Tourism Kemal Soytürk visited the restaurants in the city and gave information about the websites to the business owners to whom he distributed the cards with QR codes. Soytürk told that efforts to promote Edirne on all platforms continue. Reminding that a new logo and slogan work was carried out by the Governorship of Edirne in the branding process of the city, Soytürk said, “We made an application for all our stakeholders for the promotion of local brands, where the gastronomic and touristic richness of Edirne is revealed. We use digital technology. Local and foreign visitors coming to our city can log in to both ‘edirne.com.tr’ and ‘edirneyoresel.com.tr’ by scanning the QR code.”
