The 12th summit of the International Architecture Academy operating under the supervision of UNESCO and World Union of Architects (UIA) is taking place in Bulgaria’s capital Sofia. IAA The International Academy, embracing the world’s top 100 architects and urban planners, held its Academic Council on the first day of summit.
PROFESSOR TITLE IS GIVEN TO EMRE AROLAT…
Great Presidium Meeting performed on the second day of summit. In this meeting, five names achieved the title of professor; USA Architecture Institute Honorary Member, Aga Khan Architecture Award Winner famous Turkish architect Emre Arolat, Giorgi Khmaladze from Georgia, Makoto Sano from Japan, Peter Arsic from Serbia and Zhuang Weimin from China.
10 NAMES ARE NOW “GRAND MASTERS”…
During the meeting, 10 names that shown as the world’s best architects declared as “Grand Masters”. These names are Albert Dubler from France, Alexander Kuzmin from Russia, Amedeo Schiattarella from Italy, Cui Kai from China, Eric Van Egeraat from Holland, Martin Drahovsky from Slovakia, Michael Johnson from USA, Paolo Cucchi from Malaysia, Sergey Skuratov from Russia and David Childs from USA…
MAJOR CONFERENCES TO BE HELD…
The summit will host major conferences about the “World Architecture and Urban Planning”. Japanese architect Fumihiko Maki’s determinations will mark the conferences that will be held by Italian master architect Massimiliano Fuksas and Eric Van Egeraat from Holland. Third day of the summit, the grand master Prof. Dr. Ahmet Vefik Alp and Emre Arolat will make a presentation.
